Since Vancouver is one of the most diverse cities in Canada, there are also distinct cultural regions planted in the city. Since the Chinese population is large in Vancouver, a Chinatown was established, and now Vancouver's Chinatown is ranked as one of the largest in North America. Popular attractions in Chinatown would be the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, the Chinese Cultural Centre Museum, the Chinatown night market, and much more.
Yaletown, a "hip" fashion district is fit for any urban settlers. The neighborhood was only made up of warehouses before, but now it is known for its clothing stores, galleries, salons, and restaurants. Gastown is a popular tourist destination, as it is the oldest neighborhood in Vancouver. Various antique shops and First Nation galleries are opened here, and the world's first steam-powered clock was also built here. Other commonly known regions in Vancouver include Granville Island and Robson Street.
